What a hoot, 70's, what an era that was although living thrue it I cant remember it being quite the way it was on our theme night. Some fantastic dressing up was done, the lady minder as I would call him in this crazy world of PC looked well cool man and I think his first 'How to' blog may well be the special cane! Never sold any Babysham, funny that.
Humm, as I write this I seem to remember some strange and somewhat impossible twister moves being done and that 'spin wheel' was selecting faces in crutches positions everytime. Thank you Mr. Starey for managing the wheel. Laters...... Gurry.

October has been fun so far, A couple of Saturday's ago we were entertained by the 'little Egypt' morris men (is that correct when the finer sex is also with them?) Special thanks for shifting copious amounts of ale to make room for more from further afield than Suffolk.

Well, it's not every October that you get the acolade of Suffolk pub of the month winners is it? special thanks to the CAMRA members who called in Saturday and we very much hope they enjoyed their lunch and ales. Rev. James was on just after you left so you really must return for some.

We are having a 70's retro night on the 1st of November, Babysham will not be a problem but where will old gurry get his mits on a party 7? Answers on a postcard please.

One of our customers has been dressing in 70's attire for a while now, even before we entertained this theme night, he must have known :-)

Another interesting weekend in the tree, usual stuff really, the darts team raised a thousand pounds for charity and 'Wrong' dropped his trousers again! gets earlier and earlier every week, still the same size. I must thank Sara for her thoughtful gift from London. Those really were small but they still fell off.....  Next time Sara and Karen spend a girly night in London it may be a good idea to hide the wallets of their dearly beloveds. Copious amounts of alcohol and a rendition of the Carpenters, Queen and American pie all before midnight does rather worry old Gurry. Power mate, no stress, it's nothing to be ashamed off if you cant remember the words to calling occupants, more worrying if you did. I wonder how dirty got on this weekend, was it a date or is Asian babes 28 out on release?

A few locals met Jet this weekend, I never knew how long your tongues were.
